FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers to the practical questions patients usually ask before booking.

What is Functional Therapy?

Functional Therapy is an approach that looks beyond the painful area alone and works to understand the movement, biomechanical, and neural patterns contributing to the problem.

Is this suitable for my issue?

It may be a good fit if you are dealing with pain, tightness, restriction, or recurring flare-ups that do not seem fully explained by the sore spot alone.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is required to book.

How do I book?

Book online through the clinic portal. The session length shown there is to hold the right clinic slot, not to suggest the whole appointment is just a fixed block of hands-on treatment.

Why does the booking portal show a session length?

The portal shows a time block so the clinic can manage availability properly. The session itself is about working out what is driving the problem, treating what matters, and giving you a clear direction from there.

What payment methods do you accept?

EFTPOS, cash, card, and Stripe are accepted.

Do you offer Medicare or private health claiming?

The clinic does not process Medicare, DVA, private health, WorkCover, or NDIS billing through the clinic. Receipts can be provided if you want to manage eligible claiming independently.

What is your cancellation policy?

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required. Late cancellations and missed appointments may incur the full session fee.
